AALBF-6A Wastewater PP Bag Filter Housing High Flow Rate Plastic Filter for Acid & Alkaline Liquids

The AALBF-6A Wastewater PP Bag Filter Housing, developed and manufactured by AAL Filter, is a high-flow plastic filtration system designed for solid–liquid separation in wastewater, acid, and alkaline applications.

The housing is made from imported Polypropylene Homopolymer (PPH) using one-piece injection molding technology, forming a seamless, weld-free structure that completely eliminates leakage risks while providing excellent mechanical strength and chemical resistance.

This model is a bag-type filter housing equipped with a non-standard No.6 filter bag (φ180 × 560 mm), offering a larger filtration area, higher dirt-holding capacity, and longer service life. It can also be configured with six 62 mm × 20″ filter cartridges or five 68 mm × 20″ filter cartridges, allowing flexible adaptation to different process requirements.

Manufactured in accordance with international standards, the AALBF-6A is fully compatible with filter bags from EATON, FSI, and PALL, as well as domestic standard filter bags, ensuring easy sourcing and global replacement.

With a maximum operating pressure of 8 bar (116 psi) and a temperature resistance of up to 90°C (194°F), the AALBF-6A delivers stable and reliable performance in wastewater treatment, chemical processing, electroplating, pharmaceuticals, electronics, desalination, and fine chemical industries.

Operating Instructions

1.Clean all O-rings and sealing grooves before use and place the O-rings correctly without twisting.

2.Insert the filter bag into the support basket, ensuring the bag ring fits tightly against the housing or basket wall.

3.Place the bag hold-down ring vertically and press evenly to secure the filter bag.

4.Install the inner pressure plate and ensure it presses evenly on the sealing ring.

5.Tighten the housing cover clockwise until fully sealed.

6.Install the pressure gauge and fittings securely.

7.Close the drain valve, open inlet and outlet valves slowly, and start the pump.

Filter Bag Replacement Procedure

1.Stop the pump, close inlet and outlet valves, and open the drain valve to discharge all liquid inside the housing.

2.Confirm that internal pressure is fully released, then open the cover counterclockwise.

3.Remove the inner pressure plate and bag hold-down ring.

4.Take out the used filter bag and clean the housing interior and components.

5.Install a new filter bag following the operating instructions above.

6.Restart the system after confirming proper installation and sealing.

Important Notice:Never open the filter housing cover while the system is under pressure or in operation.
