Working Principle

The AAL FRP Basket Strainer operates as a pressure-type filtration unit. Liquid enters the housing and flows through the strainer basket, where suspended solids and debris are retained on the basket surface. Clean liquid exits through the outlet, protecting pumps, valves, and other downstream components.
Depending on the basket mesh specification, filtration performance effectively covers coarse particle and debris removal applications.

Precautions

1. Ensure the filter basket is correctly installed and secured with bolts.

2. Do not exceed the rated working pressure (≤ 6 kg/cm²).

3. Open the air release valve before system startup and close it after all air has been expelled.

4. Maintain an inlet–outlet pressure difference ≤ 1.5 kg; replace or clean the basket promptly if necessary.
